Knicks Sign Mitchell Robinson to Multi Year Pact

All it took was on 9-8-4 performance and the Knicks have signed Mitchell Robinson to a multi-year deal that, by rule must include a portion of their mid-level exception. They also have to drop a player to add him, and it will be interesting to see how they make room. The deal is complete with team options, which are ideal.

UPDATE: They don't have to get to 15 till the end of preseason.  So Mitchell is on the team and they don't have to make an immediate cut.

There was some talk that he would only get a one year deal so it wouldn’t impact next year’s cap room, but obviously that would’ve been risky so they made the right move.

PG may remain the biggest need. Too early to know.
