Ranger Stuff

Alright, after the Tavares decision the Rangers jumped right in with a 700K one year deal for 3rd pair D  Fedrick Claesson, late of the Sens.  He'll turn 26 late this year, and was effective against the Rangers in the 2017 playoffs. Unexciting, but doesn't take penalties. Next they re-signed C Vladislav Namestnikov for 2 x 4M.  Not a bad term or number but this probably does mean one of the other C's, all of whom I like better than VN is getting dealt. Probably Hayes, so this really depends on what comes back for that. You'll recall VN was having a breakout year with Stamkos, then was less impressive with the post sell-off Rangers. He'll get a better audition now.  I'll keep updating.
