Steven Sensely Promoted to Tampa

One of the relatively few Yankee prospects with left handed patience and pop, Steven Sensely has made it to high A in his second pro season.  He was drafted last year in what's looking more and more like a huge haul for both sides of the amateur scouting department.  Could see more promotions in the next week or so.  A bunch of kids are, currently blocked, though.

Watching Cessa pitch is so torturous it’s tortious.

They have to DFA him and Cessa.

Yankees have a short bench because they forced Cessa into a start. Now, after predictably falling behind, they will need to give away outs by allowing relief pitchers to hit because they don't have enough pinch hitters. By looking ahead to Boston, Yanks could enter weekend in 2nd

This is where bad roster management comes back to bite you.

They don’t always maximize their assets.

This is the best I have seen Gallegos.

Gio Gallegos really performed against what's considered a good NL lineup.

That might have been the Green-ing of Gallegos.

They punted this game.

Justus Sheffield pitched six scoreless. Only 3 K's but no walks, which seem to be under control over his last 3 outings.

They should swap out Drury for Walker for the upcoming series.

Good news on Sheffield. Those walks are holding him back for sure and there is no way he can pitch out of the BP down the stretch if he cant throw strikes consistently.

I would expect Cessa or Gallegos going down for Frazier since Boston has 3 LHP going this weekend.

I think Austin may get the call

Has Austin been down long enough to call back uo without an injury?

Frazier can’t be recalled unless they DL someone. Strange that they didn’t foresee the need for him.

I am sure some pitchers' arm will be sore for Austin/Frazier.
