Rangers Take Swiss D Nico Gross at 101

Here endeth the 2018 Ranger Draft Bonanza.  They started with 8 picks in the top 101 but made only 7 after the trade up for Miller.  Gross is interesting and made the Swiss 20 and under team as a 16 year old. Gross is a great skater who was loaned to the Oshawa Generals of the OHL, but who's top 50 draft status was derailed by a bout of mono.  Poor kid.  Anyway, the Rangers are getting a great price on one of the better Swiss D's to ever come along. Defense first at this point, physical at 6'1" 183.  Loves the corners. Bet this is the Rangers most popular Day 2 pick on Twitter.  Let me check.
