Rangers Take G Olof Linbom at 39

This one puzzles me. While the Rangers were busy trading picks and chasing Cups, they did manage to create a strong goalie program with a bunch of strong goalie prospects.  My guess here is that he Olof reminds them of Hank. I thought they'd go forward here, and would not have minded if they still had 2 2nds and took a goalie, but I was thinking that was a position the Rangers didn't need to service this Draft. He's the first goalie taken, btw, but was listed as only the 5th rated European goalie. Though that generally hasn't meant anything.  If he develops he'll either be the next starter or trade gold. We'll see.  Need more goals.
