This kid is either 6'11 or 7' and 225 and can run the floor. Not sure he played college hoops but many expected him to go in One. Can run the floor like a 3, but can defend and finish. About what I wanted here.
Twice committed to a college program and never showed, never showed to the draft combine. Did spend the year working out with a Pro trainer. Has the talent, I like that he's a shot blocker, hope he doesn't get in his own way to being a Pro.
He will either realize that a commitment to working hard for 10 years ould possibly make the rest of his life pretty great, or in 10 years he will lament what could have been.
His step father played for Dean Smith, and was an assistant coach at Western Kentucky. but left -- and Mitchell went with him. Beyond having a pro trainer - he also had a pro stepfather who might have been guiding this, he would have lost a year if he had transferred. Was #11 on ESPN's Top 100 last year.

Supposedly the Lakers wanted him too.

So we drafted two guys with ceilings.
It seems like a good risk-reward in the 2nd.
I like the Picks...
I see a lot of DeAndre Jordan in the highlight clips. Also a 2nd round steal when he was drafted.
Enjoyable presser.
