Yanks Take LHP Jeff DeGano at 57

I can only believe that ownership has told the draft team to take collegians.  This is not a bad one and he's already had his TJS.  DeGano, a Canadian, exploded this year coming off of TJ and K'd well more than a 1 per inning.   Other than the neglect of preps so far, I don't mind this guy at all.  If they want him to be a starter, it will take some time, if they want him to be a reliever, they could probably fast track him.  He has a plus fastball and a slurve.  Needs a change or a split.

UPDATE: This guy's a senior, so the Yanks are loading up for something.
