Yanks Complete the Sweep

Jose Pirela started hitting and the Yanks beat up on the Angels again, 6-2.   After a shaky first by CC which saw the Yanks fall behind 2-0 before they even go up, CC settled down and let the power game  do it's thing.   Pirela scored the first run after doubled, Murphy SF'd him to third and DiDi scored him on a goundout.  Then Young tied it with a homer, Gardy followed later with a three run jack to make it 5-2 and then Pirela made it 6-2 with his first career homer.

CC was ejected at the end of the 6th for arguing with the ump over what seemed like a biased striezone all day.   And the bullpen did its job, though Girardi did bring in Betances with a 4 run lead which really does indicate the need for another reliever whom Girardi can trust in these low leverage situations.

Always love it when the Yanks beat the Angels, mostly because I remember the time when they were like kryptonite to the Yankees.

I really wish Shreve would start getting more high-leverage innings.

Shreve and Lindgren should both get into these situations more imo

Lawyer;

That would be the worst move they can make. The absolute worst move.

Latest mock has Yanks taking Randolph and Stewart with their 1st 2 picks
