Yanks Pick C Anthony Seigler at 23
The Yanks just popped switch-hitting switch pitching Catcher, Anthony Seigler, from Cartersville High in Georgia. Anthony is Navajo and really addresses a burgeoning catching issue in in the organization, as will the two top IFA catchers they are associated with. One thing we can say is he is massively coordinated. He's 5'11 and 200, which are the Mickey Mantle dimensions, but Anthony is more of line drive high/average hitter. He can also play second and third. Both of his throwing arms are above average and we'll have to see if they settle on one and that one develops a bit more. I am hoping this is an underslot deal, because, though he seems like a freakish athlete it has not added up to an impact player so far, and that's what you need in one, unless you have it stashed for later.
UPDATE: Apparently he blew the doors off of his Yankee workout and had multiple exit velos over 100 from both sides of the plate. And that is impact.

I think it’s an underslot.

Why was Warren in the game instead of Green? Does Boone just not trust Green at all?
I can only think it has to do with overuse but that’s the curious choice.
I don't think Warren can do it anymore.
And I pray Anthony is underslot. Because I see great credentials and athleticism, I don't see impact yet. Hope we chase some in 2.
The Astros selected who I kinda wanted, Seth Beer, though there are questions about whether or not he can hit with a wooden bat.
I updated, mutliple 100 plus exit velos from both sides of the plate during his Yankee workout.
The inevitable doubleheader split. Yay weather.
Girardi type house money bullshit. And German didn't deserve it.
Hope we get a Lefty Power hitting prep in 2.
We're 20 picks away from our second and final pick today.
Rockies just took Grant Lavigne, the lefty hitter I was hoping for.
15 picks away.
9 picks away.
4 picks away.
