Yanks Go JuCo C Josh Breaux in 2
Wow, the Yanks just took another Catcher. Josh Breaux is a beast with a bat from McClennan CC. He can also throw 100 off the mound. Josh is 6'2" and 215. And we now have our rookie league and SI catchers in hand. Seriously, he went to the Cape and proved he could hit with wood, but because of his arm and lot of forces seemed to be pulling him toward pitching. So that is a fall back position. Also, Nick Swisher made the announcement and got to say "Bro." All sorts of good signs in that. I have no doubt they have great exit velos on Josh, too. The Yanks have also addressed their dearth of catchers as well as shortage of high upside position players in the 18-20 age range.
Jeeze, the Bro hit .404 with 18 jacks, and 48 walks and 61 runs scored in 56 games. He OPS'd 1.363.

Told of John Sterling’s home-run call: “Romie, my homie,’’ Romine said: “I’m just glad I have a home-run call now. There was a while there it was few and far between.”

The Yankees left ten men on base and went 0-for-10 with runners in scoring position Monday night.
Didn’t love the decision to bring Adam Warren into a one-run game with a runner on second. First game back from the disabled list, and that’s when he comes in? With the rest of the bullpen rested? Not the greatest move by Aaron Boone.
Breaux looks like a beast in that picture, has great numbers and a cannon arm. Can't wait to see them signed and hitting the field in a minor league game.
