In the Fourth, the Yanks Take a BAT

Yanks just took Canaan Smith, who they are calling a RF out of Rockwall-Heath HS in Texas.  He's a lefty swinger who WALKS! It's unusual to find prep bats who walk, particularly those with power bats.  This kid played all over the place through HS, but the Yanks drafted him as a RF, though they won't need one any time soon.
