Yanks Calling Up Domingo German

In a move that is probably not so surprising because Domingo German is already on the 40 man roster, the Yanks will call him up to make the Sunday start. I think we were all sort of pulling for Chance Adams, who is scheduled to pitch again tomorrow, but German's also been pitching well and they don't have to force a roster move.  German was the exciting part of the Martin Prado deal a few years ago.  Eovaldi was the big piece, but German was the really intriguing one.

Domingo features a mid-90s fastball with a plus change and curveball that has been developing.   He's loose armed and sort of slight, but his stuff plays.  We'll see if he can put himself on the map Sunday.  Next year, we could end up with a rotation featuring a Luis, a Jordan, a Chance and two Domingos!
