Another Girardi Loss
Pundits will frame this as a Clippard slump, but this was an absolute Girardi loss. In the 8th inning, the Toronto's best hitters were up. That is the time to us your best reliever. There's no reason to save him because the greatest threat is right in front of you. But Giradi is a slave to the save rules, and he will cost us games as a result as long as he manages the Yanks.

You are correct, but they do overrate Clippard, and Cashman seems to love Joey, so they will have to Joe2-proof the pen
Sevy said his change was his best pitch today.
Chapman should be back soon where Clippard moves to the 7th inning.
Roles should be a function of the situation not the inning.
Some players are more comfortable hitting in a certain order in the lineup or pitching in an inning.
I don't believe that. If you have evidence I would look at it.
