Rangers Tonight

The Rangers play the Devils in their last preseason game tonight.   Talbot's in goal, and it will mostly be the kids and the scrub veterans competing for those last few roster spots.  Doesn't seem like Dylan McIlrath got a fair shot.   They just didn't play him in enough games, and he can't really play his game against teammates in practice or scrimmages.

I hope the rest of the kids get a fair shake and we don't see Stempniak or Lombardi or whoever get a scholarship till Christmas.
