Duclair Rumors

According to a TSN rumor, the Rangers are actively trying to move a contract or two to make room for Anthony Duclair to make the team.  Apparently,  since Duclair signed in January, his contract doesn't slide if he's sent back to juniors.  In other words, he counts against their 50 contract limit whether or not he's on the big team.   So that's just another reason to keep him.

As you know, we've been expecting just such a move (not for Duclair, but to clear spaces) since July. We'll see what happens.   Maybe they can trade the Bourque's to the Bruins or Avs.

Sounds good to me and maybe we could recoup some picks. BTW just saw Hal on the MK Show and it sounds like re building is out of the question and going after a FA SS and starter is the aim now.
