Onto the ALCS!!!!!
Okay, now we are waaay ahead of schedule. In what should only have taken 4 games, finally got done in 5 and the Yanks are onto te ALCS for the first time in years. And though the young homegrowns all had their moments in the series, it was some older homegrowns like DRob, Gardy and Kahnle who might have been the biggest heroes. Anyway, about that, the umps screwed the hell out of Aaron Judge this series, but he could take over the next series, or any series, likewise Sanchez and Bird. Didi put his foot down HARD with two early homers, and the other kid we traded for, Aaron Hicks also chipped in. What a team!!!!!!!

Great AB by Gardner. Lots of character all around
What an incredibly satisfying series win.
That at-bat by Gardner should be required viewing by every Yankee prospect. “This is what we’re looking for.”
I would have the two Tylers on the ALCS roster.
LOVED Most of all the "fight" in this team, is great. You can see them grind like the 90's championship teams did, stay in the game as long as possible and something will happen, never give in....great job Yanks! Gardner is a leader, even little things like when MLB(Yanks) experimented with nicknames on back of their jersey, Gardner stuck with his real name, did not want to tarnish the tradition..likely would have opted out if that was an option.
Why are some members of the media so intent on boosting Girardi? He left CC in a batter too long last night, costing a run. I think he could’ve used another reliever to start the eighth. Yeah Todd Frazier is all over his butt, but he has played no matter wat, so I get it from his point of view.
It’s a feel-good story: After committing one of the most bone-headed non-decisions in postseason history, his team performed to where the non-challenge is now totally irrelevant.
It’s not totally a relevant, he taxed pitching staff.
I just don’t see the guy as likable or a good manager, and it’s not like I can’t change my position. I thought Cashman was doing a bad job for too long, but he has turned that around.
If anything I think Girardi’s managing has gotten worse
Regarding Girardi, he may not be perfect but I believe he's better than anyone out there available right now.
I want someone from the Yankees minor-league system or is PhI’ll has suggested, Brian Butterfield
That reminds me, I think I heard Kay and Olnet, and Kay asked Olney if Jeter wanted to hire Butterfield.
Tanaka in game one, Severino in game two. No trust in Gray. They paid a ton for him.
CC game 3.
Gray game 4.
Gray will not have pitched in over a week by that point.
It’s an objectively tough call, but I understand why he would go, or they would go, with the starters they currently trust most.
The Yanks just don't score for Gray.
That was true early on. Lately it has been poor command and control.
If we don't hang any sliders, I really like our chances. I think our bullpen is better, and that we'll get more from Judge and the boys.
Yanks will lose tonight but win tomorrow afternoon.
I'm excited for this series. Also, trading Rutherford for Frazier/Kahnle/Robertson might be one of Cashman's best moves.
You can’t judge a pay it forward deal in year one.
Holliday DH, no way. Wade. Yet another reason I don’t like him his manager
Gonna have to agree with Billy on that. Robertson alone has been absolutely huge, and they got other helpful pieces for him.
Otani needs to be the DH next year.
What if Rutherford becomes an all-time great player?
