Girardi Blows Game, Possibly Denying Kids a Run
This clown must go. After not doing anything about yesterday's BS strikezone, he blew an 8-3 lead by not challenging a HBP which was actually a foul tipped 3rd out, which set up a grand slam, and well, you saw the rest. Stupid decision after stupid decisin, including using Toe to run for Frazier, and have him running, even though a bunt was in order, and getting him picked off. Yanks lost many more games than they had to this year, directly as a result of Joe's bad decisions. Enough already. He is not the guy for the new Dynasty.

Pathetic. His post game answers were some of the worst I’ve ever seeen,,,,
He has to be fired, him Levine amongst others...
Didn’t want to take the pitcher “out of his rhythm”? It would have been strike 3, or a walk. What. The. F***.
I believe we will come back in this Series! Believe!
He’s lion like a rug
Lying
As I said the dog ate his binder
I have never seen a manager fail to take responsibility to this degree
Right. I’m sure he’s privately kicking himself but you gotta come out and own that in your press conference. His answers just added fuel to the fire.
It’s disqualifying.
We will win the next 2 in NY and send it back to Cleve for game 5.
So, Aroldis Chapman on Instagram “liked” a comment calling for Joe’s contract not to be renewed. (Check Pinstripe Alley’s Twitter feed for the screen cap.) That tells me he’s lost the clubhouse.
He sucks.
horrible decision by Girardi, but its times like these where it drives me nuts that an entire Metro area is calling for a mans job while a hack of an ump who cant tell the difference between the sound of a bat hitting a ball and flesh hitting a ball can skate by without anyone questioning his competency. Then the grandiose pricks bemoan anyone questioning their judgement as they cost people jobs across the league.
I’m going for the man’s job. His contract as is expiring, time to go.
I’m pro robot. I think all umps should go. People defend them by saying that they get 95% of the calls right. Yeah 95% of the calls are easy.
RAB mentioned there are 2 challenges in the playoffs. What was he saving them for given the risk-reward at that point in the game?
Generally not an umpire defender, but we have the benefit of slow-mo and they don't. That's squarely on Girardi for not bothering to challenge the call.
I don't think Girardi will be managing the team in 2018. Management has to be fuming at the thought he potentially lost them millions by not guaranteeing there would be a Game 4 at YS. Plus, this is one of those moments from which managers just don't come back, a la Grady Little.
