Bird Having Surgery Tomorrow

Greg Bird will finally have surgery tomorrow.  It's a six week rehab and he should be back by mid-late September and be eligible for the post season.   This, of course, most regretable.  The best hitter on the team goes down early in the season, and it takes 9 doctors to figure out what's wrong.  And they finally do surgery around game 89.  Meanwhile, some unnamed jerk in the organization blasted Bird's will.  This is NOT BIRD'S FAULT. The Yanks need to take a very careful look at their medical people, because their ineptitude has probably cost the Yanks two or three wins already this year, just in the case of Mr. Bird. They need new doctors.

Also, I think Pineda is having his TJ tomorrow.

F'ing Girardi manages so inconsistently. I really can't stomach hm.

If they send down Frazier it would be very concerning about their decision-making.

Did the HR derby hurt Judge?

I don't know what hurt Judge, but he's not taking his walks, either. Caleb Smith had good stuff but bad luck.

I just don't understand when and why Gerardi trusts young pitchers/relievers and when he doesn't.
