More Knicks Stuff
More rumors today, and not about Melo. Earlier today, there were report that Mills had taken over as President and that other teams were saying the Knicks already had a new GM. People feared that it was Allan Houston, which it might still be, but today they are also meeting with the Kings Scott Perry, who's only been with the Kings since this past Spring after coming over from Orlando. He had started out in 2000 with Dumars in Detroit. So he may or may not be the new GM that other teams are talking about, or he may be something else. And could this mean Dumars is also on the way? Or will it be Vinnie Johnson? And how much influence does Zeke still have?

Meh at this point.
He seems to have a great rep and is largely being dredited for the Kings great draft and interesting vet acquisitions.
OK, but the Detroit connection and a connection to Isaiah is something to think about. If I was a beat writer (ugh), I'd cal. Isaiah trying to find out what he thinks of Hardaway and Baker. I suspect he likes them both.
The Kings and Knicks are beginning to discuss compensation that will allow Perry to take the job, league sources said.
