More Knicks Nonsense

As I kept refreshing Twitter, waiting on this Melo trade, I saw the Knicks had re-signed Ron Baker for 8.9M dollars.  Now, I like Ron Baker because he plays D, but, DAG! He was undrafted last year and that's not how these things are supposed to work.  As it stands, prior to any Melo or Lee or O'Quinn trades the Knicks are about 1.5M under the cap.  They have nowhere near the number of plus players to justify that cap figure.  Many things have to give.

Ditto!! Love RB but who were they bidding against? This organization is just down right sad. There must be more to these strange transactions??

The problem is Dolan has created a culture in which accountability only emerges when there is a full blown crisis. Then it's back to cronyism writ large.

The problem with the thinking of there must be some reason for these bad decisions, is that the organization has been making these type decisions for 30 + years with nothing reasonable to explain their stupid decisions. 8.9M for RB is looney! Agree that being we are just about capped out with a team of mostly garbage is concerning. We need to clean house, there's a culture of dumbness and losing that needs to be gutted.

The reason is simple: incompetence. It can only change by sucking their way into top picks. But they even suck at sucking.
