Okay, NBA UFA opened Friday Night/Saturday Morning, and not only have the Knicks lost both of the Summer League games since, but they've made no move on a veteran PG, and actinng Basketball Czar Steve Mills isn's talking to the press. Still, things like Melo's willingness to be traded to Houston or Cleveland, and the possibility of the Knicks getting involved with the Bucks on and sign and trade for Derrick Rose. Obviously, any deal of combination of deals that rids us of those two ball hogs, is probably a net positive, but the devil will be in the details, the Knicks can not afford to, once again, trade bad for worse or even bad for just as bad but different. Also, they might be trying to trade Courtney Lee for cap space.
Mills wants the permanent job, so it would be behoove him to be impressive here.

The only way a good trade works would likely require a third team. Even then. it could be hard.
We need draft picks and whatever enables us to tank better. Let the young guys play and develope. Shed salary.
