ARod Slams Twins and Wins!

Who else likes these big homers we're getting, lately?  Alex Rodriguez, after looking lost for the past week or ten days, busted out of his slump with his 25th career Grand Slam and it couldn't have come at a better time for the Yanks.  They were down 4-1 after a CC meltdown in the 7th (he'd been great early and had gottn through 6 only having given up a run), when Gardy walked to load the bases and ARod cleared them.

I think Rumbelow will get the win, though he let in CC's 4th run, before getting a K to end the 7th.  Greg Bird had two more hits, including his frist RBI and he scored later, too.  Big game for the Yanks and they can go for the sweep tomorrow afternoon.   They need a big homestand.

If you guys aren't following Faux John Sterling on Twitter, you're missing out.

If CC can pitch like that innings one through five, I'll take it at this point. Girardi simply needs to know when to take him out.

Joe tried to lose it, but the team wouldn't let Him.

Interesting-ish article about the scouting department, which I have a lot of faith in.

Not that any of y'all were probably voting for Trump anyway, but here's a little gem from January:
@realDonaldTrump: Yankees should have dropped A-Rod long ago, not even bothered with arbitration. They would have saved a fortune!

I would put him in charge of building the train tunnel under the Hudson that desperately needs to be built

I just checked the box score and noticed that Beltran just got an infield single. It is hard to conceive of how that could happen.

And then boom, Bird homers.

They will not be able to keep him out of the lineup if ability matters.

2 - 2 run HRs today for Mr. Bird. A graduate of our system. Kudos to Cashman for not trading the Farm for a quick fix (rental).

I'm glad to have something that other teams finally want

Betances in to try to close it out. Miller must be getting the day off.
