Giants Tomorrow
Tomorrow the Giant play their first of four preseason games. Of course, the biggest deal remains to be team health. It doesn't matter how bad or good they look if they are losing players. Meanwhile, what should we expect to see.
Last year, the Giants got were able to finagle an extra pre-season game because they got a new offensive coordinator. I truly believe they took the mutual practices with Cincy so that that they could give Spags and the new D he's installing the extra reps -- in lieu of a 5th contest.
The way preseason usually works is the starters play 1 quarter in the first game, 2 quarters in the second and three in the third, with the subs and hopefuls taking the rest of the downs and pretty much all of game 4.
This year it will probably be a lot like that, but we might see the "strarting OL" or "versions of the starting OL" play more than one quarter tomorrow, likewise, we could see starters and hopefuls mixed in all through the game on defense. We'll probably see a lot of Ereck Flowers, Landon Collins and the rest of the kids from the last two drafts, as well as the premium UDFA's like Kerry Wynne, and the street guys like Michael Bamiro. Keep and eye on all of them. Pray for health. And...
WELCOME BACK, GIANTS!
