Rangers Sign Jarret Stoll

In what is becoming an annual or semi-annual rite for the Rangers, they have signed a guy who was arrested during the previous season.  Last time it was Ryan Malone, this time it is Jarret Stoll.   Stoll got tagged for possessing both cocaine and MDMA last spring.  Oh well, if that woke him up, he could be decent depth for the Rangers.  If not, Hartord's gonna be a PARTY!   Seriously, is this a new market for the Rangers -- arrested guys?

I don't really care about his drug use, as long as it's in remission, but I do care if he blocks a talented younger player.

It's one thing to forsake young players when you suck at development, but they have been really good at it.

It's so frustrating.

I'm with Lawyer on this one. His past history means little to me - can he be an asset for the Rangers? That is the question.

But I will be very upset if he blocks a talented youngster from getting a chance.

Stoll wins faceoffs, which is generally overrated, but can be big in the playoffs. They're gonna have to make a trade at some point.
