Giant Safety Hunt Takes a Turn
Feels like Devin McCourty was the Giants first pick to solve their Safety issue in free agency. He went back to the Pats, and now the Giants are reported to have checked in on Rahim Morris and Ron Parker, and I'm here to tell you it probably doesn't matter which one of those we get, or if we have to find someone else or draft someone else. And that's because Steve Spagnuolo is, along with Bill Belichick, the best I have seen and getting production out of Safeties and Corners in the cover 2. He can get quality play out of anyone. Remember James Butler? How about Craig Dahl and Michael Johnson?
He was so good at it with the Giants, in fact, they wanted to see what he could do with a plus Safety and drafted Kenny Phillips for him. So what I'm saying is, don't get too twisted up worrying about the position. Spags is back and he'll get the zone to work again.
Meanwhile, the Giants should work on the OL and the defensive front 7. We may see the return of `tweeners in FA and the draft.

If SF cuts Vernon Davis or Willis as rumored, I hope we are all over that, either is a major upgrade for us.
Scratch Willis he's retiring. I'd like a combo of Moore and Parker if possible.
If they get a consistent pass rush, the DBs will be fine. If not, they won't.
I think we just lost one of our OL targets.

Reports are we are making a hard push for Brandon Graham, and Parker possibly?

Graham is reportedly down to Eagles or Giants, which probably means that Pats are getting him.
I just spit out my drink when reading your comment, Phil. So true.
Supposedly Graham just follwed the Giants on twitter...
Not seeing it.
False report, anyway he re-signed with Philly 4 for 26
