Giants: Tampering Season Is Open

As of about 45 minutes ago, the Giants and other teams were "legally" allowed to "tamper" with the players who will become free agents on Tuesday.  This is different than, say, when Jerry Jones tampers with that child beating piece of shit, Adrian Peterson, because it was so widespread before it was instituted that they changed the rule instead of punishing all teams.  This should not stop them from punishing Jones, though.

Presumably, the Giants have spent the past 45 calling McCourty and other safeties, and perhaps chatting up and OL or 2, maybe a TE, maybe a linebacker or even corners or RB's.   It will start trickling out soon enough - and even though they are not supposed to talk money - a lot of deals will be done when the bell rings for free agency.

Go Giants!

I understand the love for Cooper but I think our OL needs to be improved first.

Not a fan of Peat. Would take Scherff if he's there and Cooper isn't.

He's better than Peat, who always ends up on the ground.

In college Yes , As far as being an NFL prospect I guess peoples opinions differ.

Watch Peat on tape. He constantly ends up on the ground where he will get hurt in the NFL.

Also, the Giants LOVE guys who can get to the second level and take guys out. Scherff is much better at that.

Also, Peat isn't a great run blocker, Scherff is.
