BRASSARD!!!!

Wow.  Brassard just unleashed an overtime laser to win what had been a 0-0 regulation game against the Blackhawks.  Talbot was once again fantastic and got a much deserved win.   We've been getting the Elite version of Cam lately.   MZA had a great assist on Brassard's one-timer.   Huge win, even though the Rangers blew a bunch of oppportunities in regulation, and turned it over a tad too often.  They hadn't shutout the Blackhawks since 1968!

If anyone takes a close look at a video of the game-winning goal, Brassard is some 20 feet out off the glove side of the goalie. He has a small angle to the glove side (Brassard's right side) but because Crawford is playing the angle well, the chances of even getting the puck on net are minimal. Most likely he would shoot it wide to the goalie's left.

His only shot is a small space on the goalies stick-side. And he winds up and sends a laser to the exact spot he needed to.

Super shot. Good win. Nice to get the 2 points.

Bring on the Islanders.
