Rangers Stuff

The rumor all day has been that Duclair has indeed made the team.    I think they still have to make a corresponding trade or have one of their waived guys get claimed to make that happen, and that's why I'm not talking about it as anything but the latest rumor.

Meanwhile, is terms of speed, hands, ability to score and ability to draw penalties on the other team, he may be the Rangers answer to Odell Beckham Jr.  Or vice versa.  Whichever, they are two massively exciting young stars that I hope to watch for years to come.

I hope this indeed does happen.Im not worried about his size..You have to catch before you can hit him and all accounts say he can fly and from what Ive seen of him on TV it looks to be so.

God invented corners so that EVERYBODY gets caught, eventually. Sometimes there's just no where to go.

He certainly is a ton of fun and has just magnificent skills and instincts. I'm really looking forward to watching him for a long time. There is some really sweet symmetry there with OBJ. All this speed and athleticism in NY is dizzying. We really aren't used to it given the way we have played historically. Gene Carr maybe had the speed but certainly not the quickness, hands and instincts. Just too much fun. Keep your head up kid.

This would be great. Baseball has sucked except for Tanaka (and a tiny bit of Pineda), and it largely sucked last year too, so I would really look forward to watching the Rangers with yet another homegrown talent.
