Yanks Greene Channels Brown

Shane Greene is now 2-0, after pitching 7.1 innings of 4 hit, 0 run 2bb and 9K ball.    And he got another ton of grounders.   Between the power arsenal, the grounders and the K's he was channeling Kevin Brown.   There arsenals are slightly different as Brown had a splitter and Greene throws a curve to go with their respective power fastballs and sliders.    But, if Greene can keep the walks down, he can really, really, really help the Yanks and he has top of the rotation stuff.  The walks are the only things that can keep him down.   David Robertson was also straight money in a 1-2-3 ninth.

The rest of the Yanks managed three whole runs and could really use an infusion of offensive energy from AAA.

He is now one of the few compelling reasons to watch this team.

Bryan Mitchell was supposed to start for AA today, but didn't so he's either been called up to help tomorrow, has an injury or has been traded.
