The Man for PC

Dave Eiland should be the next pitching coach of the Yankees. He has done great work in the system over the last few years with pitchers like Phil Hughes, Joba Chamberlain, Ian Kennedy, Edwar Ramirez and Tyler Clippard. He'd be perfect for the job, because he knows the Yankee pitchers so well and has been able to really help them. It was he who came up and fixed Phil Hughes's mechanics which lead to his big September and playoff series. Under Nardi Contreras, the Yanks have installed a top to bottom state of the art pitching system in their minor leagues. Eiland is a key exponent of it, and should be the man who creates the major league continuity for the minor league system. The Yanks have several other good pitching coaches in the system, like Gil Patterson, Scott Aldred, Greg Pavlick and Carlos Chantres. Hopefully, one from this group will become bullpen coach. Go Yanks!
