I can't figure it out. Hank is playing well. It seems we have these one or two minute lapses in a game, and then become inept offensively. Avery should add a spark when he returns. I do think Dawes and Dubinsky have played well. I wonder if this team needs a shake up ie Renney or a trade. I suspect before long something along those lines would happen. I still do expect Drury and Gomez will get it turned around.
Hossa can't handle Jagr's passes or put in any rebounds. A decent forward would have about 5 or 6 goals by now if he were in Hossa's skates. Also, Prucha's not playing enough and obviously Malikival is playing too much.
You hit the nail on the head Phil. Renney's loyalty will be his downfall. Malikival is showing why they will never be confused with a number one defensive pairing. I think if and when Renney goes Malikival, and Hossa beware. I mean Pock only got one game??? I think this team needs a new voice, and some new talent especially on the back line.
Supposedly Olney said that Girardi is the choice, and today's Daily News says he is the front runner. From what you can tell Phil is this the case, and if so what should we expect a potential staff to look like?

I don't know, but this team is under achieving at a pre-lockout rate right now. The weird thing is, we've only added high character guys.
