Horror Stars

Christopher Lee (1922-) The definitive Dracula was not Bela Lugosi, it was Christopher Lee. While Lee continues to have a long and varied career, both in and out of the Horror Genre, I am always happiest to see him in his Dracula get up, battling Cushing's Van Helsing. That's what Halloween and loving the Horror Genre are all about. He played the cunning Count at least 10 times between Hammer and other European studios, and he just blows Lugosi's early talky performance out of the water - interesting note, in one of the Hammer flicks, he played Dracula silently cause he didn't like the scripted lines. That's badass. Happy Haunting!
