Bird to the IL, Ford Up

So Greg Bird is down again, this time he has plantar fasciitis. I've had this one and it sucks.  Anyway when are they going to start looking at his shoe. Rather than calling up McBroom, the Yanks are finally giving a chance to Mike Ford. They signed Mike as an undrafted free agent out Princeton, several years ago. He's a lefty who can hit, and has good pop. He once hit 4 homeruns in a High A game. He's also been lost in the Rule 5 before. So, after his long strange trip, he's finally become a Yankee at 26.  Good luck, Mike.
