Jordan Montgomery to Undego TJS on Thursday

The Yanks will be without their lanky, sneaky good starter Jordan Montgomery for the next year or so.  In a big of a surpise, he'll be undergoing TJS on Thursday.  In the short term this will hurt starter depth, let's hope they don't use it to justify a trade.  More importantly let's wish Monty a speedy and full recovery.

It sucks, most of all for him, and it will feed into the worst intincts of the GM, but they are covered internally if they have the guts to pursue that option. Talent wise, German is better.

If course they can always trade the much in demand Hicks for a top-of-the-line pitcher.

Rich could not agree more. Hicks is creme de la creme so he should easily net us any pitcher we desire. Move Gardner to CF, Frazier to Left problem solved.
