Giants Interview Pats Coordinators
The Giant braintrust (do we trust those brains?) has made it to Boston to interview Patricia and McDaniels. Patricia went first and his interview is complete. He's interesting because he brought advanced analytics to the Pats. They are currently interviewing McDaniels, who is interesting because he is a whiz with QB's and offense, and the Giants might just be using the #2 pick in the draft on a new QB for their offense. While they are there it might be wise to do everything short of outright tampering to see what Little Bill is thinking. Any one of the three could be the next coach, though, to our knowledge the Giants haven't passed the Rooney standard yet. Shumur is tomorrow.

How much compensation should they be willing to give up for BB? Put another way, what shouldn’t they give up?
The other issue is they may not have clarity on his status right away, so is it worth losing McDaniels or some other alternative you really like while you wait?
I have a feeling they will say he was not available and had no discussions about it, whether it is true or not, or if it was the opportunity cost that made him "unavailable." Sort of think it will be McDaniels at this point.
@PLeonardNYDN: Source to @garymyersNYDN on Bill Belichick: “I’m sure Bill knows this is his last chance to be the Giants coach. Bill sees an opening – an opening to get to the Giants.” 👀 #Giants http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/giants/bill-belichick-sees-opening-coach-giants-source-article-1.3739643

Mr. Belichick will be the next Head Coach for the NY Giants! I have a good source. Mark my word!
So, not happening.
Realistically, there is one way this thing happens, and that is if there is an immediate deal between the Pats and the Giants to do this, and the compensation, in my opinion, cannot be the second pick in this draft.
Just to clarify, I mean the first pick, number two overall
From the daily news article:
The source said he’s not certain if the reported friction and tension in New England will prompt Belichick to force his way out,

This means the source knows nothing except the Giants are appealing to him. And who didn’t know that?
