So they are introducing Dave Gettleman right now and he is saying everything we want to hear about building up the OL and DL. Says he's been hired to win and will do everything in his power to lead this team back to where it belongs. He's been charming and funny.

It’s the owner’s bad character that’s the issue, not him.
I don't think the owner can stop him from doing a good job if he's capable of doing a good job, and that's what I want to see.
We will never know if there are personnel restrictions whether in FO, coaches, or players.
It could work, and I said that weeks ago, but this is Dolan at his worst, and the handling of the Eli debacle and the tolerance for mediocrity for so long proves that.
We'll just have to see. We've won 2SB's and should have won a third, but for Plax, under these owners.
So the intro is over, and it was sort of a less formal version of what TC said when he was introduced in 2004. Talked about the lines, which is what we were after.
They started to lose me when they chose Reese over Coughlin. As I said, the franchise was on a glidepath because of what flowed from the forced hiring of Young. I give the owners no credit.
But you are right. We will see.
I'm sort of hoping for DeFillipo or Bill O'Brien for HC.

I’m with you Phil either of those would work for me.. Is it a given,O’Brien will be out of Houston?
No it's not.
Just watched his interview with Bob Papa. Could tell Bob really likes him, and that's reassuring, given that he's known him for around 20 years. Not everyone was as warm and cuddly when TC returned, though, to his eternal credit he turned that around when he opened up.
I know this is off topic slightly, but as an Alabama alumnus, how has Dalvin Tomlinson looked this season for the Giants?
He's looked a little up and down. The DL has been decimated by injuries and guys playing with injuries, so it's probably not a fair look.
I think he would look better if they had a pass rush, but JPP looks done and Vernon has had trouble staying on the field.
