Rangers Re-call Vinni Lettieri

Due to Chris Kreider's "upper body injury" the Rangers have re-called Vinni Lettieri from the AHL where he was leading the team with 12 goals. Lettieri, who starred for the University of Minnesota, and is another one of those college stars the Rangers signed to try to make up for all of those traded picks. They couldn't re-call Chytil because he's off leading his team in the World Juniors.  And Lias Andersson is off doing the same - and both of them are crushing it.  Let's hope Lettieri hits the the ice scoring, and gives the Rangers a glimpse of their possible future.  Even after their big win last night, they should be sellers at the deadline.

UPDATE: Chris Kreider has been diagnosed with a blood clot in his arm and will be out indefinitely. This is terrible news for Chris and we can only wish him our best. I wish they had given us a better clue than "upper body injury" which is often code for a concussion last night. This is scary biz.
