Giants Giant, But Still Secure the #2 Pick!

Okay, the Giants just won a game they should have strategically lost, but they still secured the second pick in the draft, because the Colts won. The Giants used the 11th iteration of their OL, to pound the Skins for over 200 yards.  They got a 75 yard rumble from Orleans Darkwa on their first running play of the game, and Gallman was also darn good as the game went on, though he contributed one of the 7 drops the targets failed to come up with.  Eli was fine. So let's hope it's not his last game as a Giant. I'm not in love with any of this year's big QB prospects, and would prefer to stick with Webb as the developmental guy, then use 2 to take Barkley or trade down.  Big week coming up.

Forgot to mention that Gettleman says he will run both Free Agency and the Draft this year, rather than moving someone into Ross's evacuated post. Reese did that during his first year as GM.

Just like 2 years ago for whatever reason none of the head coaching candidates this year really excite me. I think the “parody” of the current NFL has lead to it becoming more and more difficult to find anyone that has a resume that knocks your socks off. Terrible coaches luck into winning seasons and good coaches fail for a litany of reasons. Looking at any candidate long enough and you’ll see hundreds of positive comments and hundreds of terrifying comments.

I need to know a lot more before I would not be pissed about passing up a QB that high.

As far as coaches, they are moving on from a buffoon, so a lot of candidates potentially excite me.

I don't really like any of the group of Rosen, Darnold, etc as much as I like Webb and think they found a gem there,

That could be the right way to go, but so much seems to change (risers, fallers) beteeen now and the draft that I want to see that play out before being on board with it.

You could look at their old games on youtube. They have a lot of tapes that show all the snaps.

Gettleman requested permission to interview Patricia, and McDaniels.

Not that they’re necessarily wrong, but I love the way the members of the media say Mara wouldn’t hire Patricia because of his anti-Goddell T-shirt, but hey, Josh Brown and other domestic abusers, no problem.
