Giants Clean House
Several weeks too late, the Giants today have fired GM Jerry Reese and Head Coach Ben McAdoo. This has been a totally ham handed operation, that needlessly hurt Eli Manning and basically the United States. Cowboy and Eagle fans didn't think it was "right." Anyway, I'd be pretty surprised if Dave Gettleman isn't the new GM, Kevin Abrams has been named the interim GM. This is a tough day for Reese, who has 2 Lombardis, but was a better scout than executive. McAdoo was a total misfire, and that was hard to predict.

It is now being reported that Reese liked two head-coaching candidates better than “doo. I think Reese has been awful, but any GM should be the final arbiter of who the head coach is. That they fired Coughln to keep these two was a disgrace in and of itself.

Also, they show cut Geno. He is a classless jerk.
Gettleman is 67, so that might mean he only comes in an advisory capacity. We'll see. They have to figure out what they have in Webb, so they don't have to spend their first rounder on a QB.
I’m not sure that you can get enough information on Webb in what remains of the season to not draft what you might considered to be a 10-15 year QB.
What if he is a 10-15 year QB? Then it becomes massively inefficient to draft what might be a second one with a rarely high first round pick.
The way Mara is talking about Webb’s PT protection for the remaining games, they really aren’t going to know that.
Then they will continue to be massively inefficient and could make a deadly and duplicative first round pick.
Ross staying for now. This owner is just awful.
And Ernie is a consultant. He recommended Reese.
Chris Mara not a candidate.
Caserio-McDaniels would be the home run swing for #Giants, from initial opinions gathered from people to whom I’ve… twitter.com/i/web/status/937852991469735938 -- @art_stapleton

If Ross is considered an excellent talent valuator, Reese was even worse at his job than we thought. Either way, I don’t think he’s getting the job.
