Knicks Pound Clippers

The Knicks just beat the Clippers and did so pretty easily because as in Days of Yore, they shared the ball and all the starters as well as Doug McBuckets ended up in double figures.  Oh, and everybody played D.  So this was a throw back game. KP is out of rhythm and thus had to settle for 25 that was largely the product of his being a good free throw shooter. He's still getting clutched and pushed from the start, so he can't get into it as easily.  So now he's trying more three's to unpack the D, and he's just not there right now.  He works too hard for this to last long.  Hardaway continues to do some really good things. Refs are being hard on Frank, but at least we'll never have to worry about him being soft.

Frank N had a bad game last night. Looked like a rookie offensively but has shown great defense always which is what we need.

I wonder if they will find a place for Kornet this year. 7-1 3 pt threat.

Horny says Frank has been sick for the past few days and that's why he didn't play in the 4th.

I disagree with Hahn that the Knicks should look to trade for a PG like Kemba Walker or Damian Lilliard because Frank is “3 years away.”

First, I don’t think it will take that long and second, they don’t have the assets. They need to accumulate talent unless there is a young super duper star, and they aren’t that.

I agree about not trading for a PG. It fits in with the quick fix mythology we've been living with for like 20 years. Just because we've shown we're barely above a .500 team we need to go for it all now? Building a championship team takes years, let's take one step at a time.

Frank has offensive deficiencies but no other G on the team can prevent dribble penetration by the opposing PG.

Why even have refs?

TH jr has impressed me with his leadership and ability to drive to the basket from the previous version I remember.

So so so happy we stayed clear of Rose... I though people were crazy for wanting him back after leaving the team last year. History repeats it's self yet again.

Some interest stuff mixed in. Frank does seem to have regressed a bit lately. Same with McBuckets.
