More Giants Stuff
It's being reported that the Giants and their erstwhile, all blowed up franchise player, JPP are meeting today. See that finger he's holding up, it's been rescinded, and I guess the Giants want to give JPP a physical and decide whether or not they should rescind anything. Seriously, I have no idea if JPP can ever play close to his previous level, and frankly, that may have been a little too inconsistent to franchise. If they rescind the Franchise tag which is worth over 14M, they've be heading into the season with over 20 in cap room. We'll see what happens. I'm not counting on him ever playing for the Giants again.
In other news, the Giants cut former Giant Stevie Brown and signed former Giant Craigh Dahl. Dahl was always injured, when he was a Giant, but during the time or two he wasn't, he knew how to play the cover-2. I don't expect he's gained any speed, but Spags likes and maybe he can help.

Reese mentioned a few months ago that a few people liked Kam in the war room on the day of that draft but others dissented. It sounded like Reese was in the former camp.
So that would be one place to invest if they moved on from JPP, but they are reality not in a position to trade high picks.
I actually think JPP will be good after an adjustment period.

JPP's hand isn't ready.

Louis Nix failed his physical which is too bad. They also cut Asa Jackson, the CB they had signed.
So Jaspar Brinkley..
They re-signed Louis Nix to a new deal. When they got him off waivers he was still on his rookie deal, so that's likely been adjusted down.
