Giants Cut Weatherford, Trade for Brad Wing

The Giants, this morning, have cut their long time punter Steve Weatherford and trade for the Steelers Aussie punter Brad Wing.   Wing is yet anothe LSU, as you can see from the pic.   Weatherford was part of the SuperBowl 46 winning team and had some really good years for the Giants.  But, for a guy who keeps himself in great shape, he was experiencing a decline for the last two years and the Giants must have felt they could do better.  Good luck to Steven, going forward, he was a good player and a fine member of the community.  And I'm sure he'll be a broadcaster whenever he decides to hang em up.

He hasn't used trades as much as other successful teams during this CBA era.

Few players exemplify the fleeting nature of stardom (or maybe even superstardome) in theNFL than Nicks.

From football perspective, that is a pleasant surprise. He is ridiculously slow

I don't think it'll happen but trading a first for Kam...talk about desperation to save your job
