Yanks Win!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Holy Crap. Holy Crap. Holy Crap. Alex Rodriquez and John Ryan Murphy just lead the Yanks on an improbably comeback after CC got them down 5-0 after 3. ARod hit 3 bombs, as Warren held the Twins, with his third finally tying the game in the top of the ninth. Then John Ryan Murphy hit a three run jack and that was that! Miller came in and 1-2-3'd the Twins. What a night! What a win!

They owe their season to a player they didn't want.
Sterling is wrong; you can predict baseball, but Nostradamus could not have predicted that.
And that should have been CC's last start.
But no trades.
A-Rod 2015:

these are the kind of games you remember in September ...the one's you had no right winning but STOLE
September would be a lot more fun if they learn the right lessons from the win.
Look at the Mets. Youth is helping them.
The Yankees should be doing the same thing.
Lawyer, there's a difference, the Mets have no other choice but to do a complete rebuild and play young players all the time,
The Yankees are making the young players come in and win jobs. Up to this point it's been mostly pitchers. By this time next year, we are likely to have Refsnyder, Servino, Judge and possibly Bird on our roster. If not traded, Santana shortly thereafter and then Mateo and others.
My point is that but for the crazily unexpected years from A-Rod and Teix, the Yankees would be worse than the Mets without the hope.
That should demonstrate that the Yankees have no less choice about the necessity of giving younger players an extended opportunity.
Why does Refs get 4 games but the nauseatingly bad Drew and Ryan get forever?
So I couldn't disagree more.
Lionheart, while I agree the Yankees are in a vastly different situation than the Mets, I disagree that the Yankees are making the young players win jobs. Winning a job implies you're being given a fair chance, which has not happened for any young player on the roster who hadn't already established himself. Relievers are being shuffled through between NYC and Scranton on a regular basis, with no one sticking around long enough to really earn anything. Refsnyder got four games before being sent back down so the team could hold onto Brendan Ryan, a move that still leaves me absolutely baffled. So while it's nice to see the team performing as it has, underlying issues as it relates to management are difficult to ignore.
Apparently the Royals are getting Cueto. He was the only one I could see any upside from.
@AndrewMarchand: Asked Girardi if CC's contract plays a part in evaluating if CC should remain in the rotation. He said it doesn't.
LOL.
Rewarding under performance has never helped any company in the entire history of business.
Carlos should retire too
Gibson lost it quick. Shows how done Beltran is.
Drew gets a meaningless HR giving the fools another bullshit reason to play him
At this point, it's obvious that they aren't playing youth this year no matter how bad the overall numbers are for certain players. So, whatever helps them win, I'll take it.
Walks from McCann are nice, but man, Ellsbury has struggled since getting back.
No point in calling up guys like Goody if they aren't going to get into blowout games such as this one.
I root against Drew
