Speed Kills: Knicks Version?
Shane Larkin, whom the Knicks acquired when the offloaded Tyson Chandler and Ray Felton, may be the fastest player in the NBA. Right now, they are hoping he can run the second unit with guys like Early and maybe Hardaway, both of whom can also run a bit. We'll see if that can be put to any use. After being a kid I was interested in in the draft two years ago, he broke his ankle and lost his rookie year. He was turning the ball over during the first preseason game, but he is one of the more interesting guys in the Knicks camp, and does offer a dimension we haven't seen in a long time, if ever.
On the other hand, since basketball courts are so small relative to hockey rinks or football fields, it will be interesting to see what can be made of a speed advantage, and if it can make up for only being a 5'11" PG. Interesting story line.

Interesting that Travis Wear might have a role on this team. I like the interior defense from Delembert and I like what I see from the twos.
Missed it tonight because the Rangers were regular season.
Can't get my gf to watch hockey yet. Working on it though..,
