Ranger Stuff

Cam Talbot will start the game Thursday against the Blackhawks.  Beyond that, Pat Leonard is reporting a palpable sense of discomfort over the fates of Girardi and Callahan.   For awhile, I have thought Girardi would be kept and Callahan would be traded.  Didn't like the MSL rumors of the past few days.   The Rangers have had an odorous habit of sometimes trading young for old, and it needn't be revived when the best thing they do as an organization is make draft picks.  They should be trying to accrue more picks in any deals they make --- and not surrender them.   Ideally, they would still get youth and picks for anyone they end up trading.   Also, if there really a palpable sense of anything but excitement in the Ranger locker room, they should get these situations resolved before they effect actual games.
