Reese Speaks
Jerry Reese gave his annual combine presser this morning, and didn't really break any news. He said he expected Tuck, Beason, Joseph and all the other potential FA's to hit free agency, so he's not forecasting any preemptive deals. Meanwhile, John Clayton says the salary cap will rise to 132M up from 123M last season. That should help the Giants who will need a plethora of new players. Reese did indicate that there would be a lot of roster turnover.
Meanwhile, on the field, Zack Martin didn't run but looked good in the drills. Bitonio also looked good in the drills. Lewan had a great day, but he's not on my board because he looks better in shorts than on tape and because of his off field stuff. Yankey had a slow 40 and an average work out. Also, with great workouts by Robinson and Lewan could Matthews be falling? That would be cool.
On the TE side, Ebron and Amaro showed great speed for their respective sizes, though Ebron tweaked a hammy on his second run. Troy Niklas didn't run. What was with the ND guys not running today?
