Giants Give Coughlin Another Year

The Giants today did what they always do and gave an otherwise lame duck coach a one year extension.  This is fine and removes the cloud from over his head, while at the same time, not blocking the Giants from promoting one of the assistants if they they feel like making a move after this season.  All and all the smart thing to do.  If memory serves, he's won a SB each time he's been in this position with the Giants before.   So that's something to look forward to.
