Knicks at the Deadline
The Knicks have about 24 hours left to make a trade. Of course, they could have all the time in the world but without assets there's nothing they could get done. And they haven't even changed their coach yet, so you have to wonder if they're just tossing this year, altogether. They play like they are. Tyler and Hardaway Jr are about the only untouchables. I'd keep Melo, too, unless his trade presented a quicker way to contend. It's unlikely that it would. Strangely, of the four teams we cover, only our Rangers have been good at liquidating assets, having done really well for Gomez and reasonably well for Gaborik. The Giants and Yanks tend to wait too long. The Knicks have been horrible. Glen Rice...
