This Week on the Blog 2/16-2/22

Should be another interesting week on the blog.


Yankees:  The rest of the team, including Ellsbury and Beltran are due in by the official start of camp on Wednesday.    Some interesting tidbits should come out of the workouts.  They could also opt to make a deal for an infielder at any time.   What's more, we could learn more about their international plan.

Giants:  Giants are still allowed to work on deals for their imminent free agents as well as rejigger their cap for the start of free agency.  So we could hear about a deal or two or nothing.

Rangers:  Nothing moved on the Girardi or Callahan fronts this past week according to their agents, but that could change this week, though no trades can be made till the Olympic freeze is over.  But that won't stop JT Miller and others who are pounding on the door, so maybe we'll do some prospect talk.

Knicks:  The Knicks must change.  That could start after the all star break, or as soon as Monday.
