Eli Willing To Restructure

Eli Manning has admitted that he's willing to restructure his contract to give the Giants some room.   When this happens it is almost always an extension where salary is converted to bonus and amortized over the length of the extension or broken into smaller bonuses.   People mad about this year will want him to give money back, but that's just not how things happen, and he's not to blame for the crappy OL, injuries to RB's, Hakeem's drops and Ruben Randle's not being able to haul in 8 targets that turned into INT's.  And of course there were various fumbles.   Eli, through his two Super Bowl MVP performances has earned the right to finish his career with the Giants and that's just what a restructure will allow, while also allowing the Giants to make moves under the the cap.    This is the correct course of action for Eli and the Giants.
